Sexy Manifesting

Manifest is such a hot word right now. It’s so hot, in fact, that a lot of people have grown to despise it. We all throw it around. I know I do; especially in my podcast. It’s in all the Instagram posts, all the workshops, all the books. It’s everywhere. You can’t escape it ( muahahaha! ).

There was a time, when I was young and naive, that I would not like something because it was popular. I was too involved with being unique and not following the crowd. “Drop the ego, cool kid”, is what I would say to her if I could go back in time. Caring what other people think is the least unique and cool thing anyone can bother themselves with.

Honestly though, manifest is a powerful word, when you know what it means and how to do it. With a clear focus, an unstoppable drive, and the force of your will coupled with the power of your chosen word for the Universe ( I like Mastermind right now ), you can truly create anything you want.

You see, sometimes what we think we want or what we desire so much is not exactly what we need. I know you’ve heard that before. I go over this in the first episode of the second season of the podcast. You see, you are the center of your world but you’re also not. Do you want what you want for purely service-to-self reasons or service-to-others? Whenever your desires align with the good of all living things, those desires have a much better chance of becoming a reality. That’s because the Universe operates under the laws of unconditional love. If what you are looking to manifest is a truly high frequency endeavor and comes from your heart, you will get more cosmic help.

You also have to remember that our lives are a co-creative experience. We are taking part in a beautiful dance with the Universe. And whether you like it or not, you are not leading this dance. I mean, you kind of can, but you’ll probably be stepping on your partner’s toes quite a bit and come close to falling over, if not actually face-planting. You see, they know this dance better than anyone because they invented it. What I’m trying to say is, you can have a vision or idea of what you’re looking to manifest, but that doesn’t mean it will come to fruition exactly as you may plan.

This reminds me of the show Parks and Recreation and a character in it named Andy. Andy was a musician who played rock music in a band for a while. He always wanted to be a rock star/professional musician. Things just never really went big for him because of various reasons. Eventually, he ended up playing guitar and singing at a festival for a bunch of kids and he did great! He had fun and the kids loved it and were laughing the whole time. But it wasn’t exactly the rockstar life Andy had pictured. He lamented about it to his wife April about it and she said, “You just had fun in there and made $150. Who cares what you were supposed to be?” And then she goes on to say “Plus, you have never been sexier to me than when you were singing to those kids just now.”

Yup, serving others while having a wonderful time yourself is sexy indeed.

So how do your dreams/desires/goals line up with your infinite partner, the Universe? Now may be a good time to reevaluate them, or at least open yourself up to the possibility that some things may not go as you had planned exactly. One thing I can guarantee you though, is that if you align those goals with love and the well-being of others, they will not only manifest faster, they will be much much sexier.
